It is with the greatest of sorrow that I inform the Qantas family of the passing last night at 11pm NZ time (30/12/2020) of Fiona Tansley - nee Reading. She battled cancer for the last 4 years and with her strong positive attitude was an inspiration to all whom she met. Many of you would remember beautiful Fi Fi with her engaging smile and her ability to light up every room. Her Qantas career included Reservations, Sales Executive, National Account Manager, Business Development Manager and Manager QF retail in Wellington ( I may have missed some positions). She was awesome, so funny and a very special friend of mine, and my husband Wayne as we matchmade her with our gorgeous friend
Nick Tansley 20 years ago. Together they created 2 beautiful children Drew and Liza. She will be sadly missed and we feel so blessed to have had Fi in our lives.. I will pass on the celebration of life information as it comes to hand... So tonight, we lift our glass of bubbles ( preferably Moet) to Fi Fi... Ange Soutar xx
